Tiger Group is a privately held, family-owned conglomerate founded in 1976 by Syrian engineer Waleed Mohammad AlZoubi, making it one of the oldest active developers in the UAE. Headquartered in Deira, Dubai, with a secondary base in Sharjah, the group operates through roughly 40 subsidiary companies spanning contracting, real estate, hospitality, education, healthcare and manufacturing, and reports more than 270 completed projects and over 93 million square feet of built-up space. Its real estate arm, Tiger Properties, is active in Business Bay and Jumeirah Village Circle, offering furnished apartments and residential towers, and has more recently pursued larger landmark schemes such as Cloud Tower and Tiger Sky Tower in Dubai and the multi-billion-dirham Tiger Downtown Ajman project. The group's scale and five-decade history set it apart from Dubai's newer boutique developers, positioning it as a broad, diversified builder rather than a single-niche specialist.
