About Select Group

Established in 2002 and chaired by founder Rahail Aslam, Select Group is a privately held premium developer with a two-decade track record centred on Dubai Marina. Completed towers there include Yacht Bay, The Torch — briefly the world's tallest residential building on completion in 2011 — Botanica, Bay Central, West Avenue, No.9 and the three-phase Marina Gate, whose flagship Jumeirah Living Marina Gate was delivered in 2020. The company has since extended into Business Bay and Palm Jumeirah and partners with hospitality operators including Jumeirah Group and Six Senses on branded residences. Activity also spans the United Kingdom and Europe, and the group runs parallel investment verticals in hospitality, wellness and asset management. Positioning is high-end waterfront and branded residential, not volume housing.
