Al Barari is a privately held Dubai developer founded in 2005 by chairman Zaal Mohammed Zaal, with ownership retained by the Zaal family across generations; current chief executive Hazza Zaal grew up within the project. Unlike most Dubai developers, Al Barari has spent most of its two-decade history on a single 1.7-square-kilometre master-planned community of the same name, off Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, rather than spreading across multiple districts. Its sub-communities include Ashjar, Seventh Heaven — completed in 2020 and described as its flagship apartment development — The Nest and The Residences, built around dense landscaping, water features and low-rise architecture. The company positions itself at the ultra-luxury end of the market, with villas priced from roughly AED 15 million to AED 75 million and apartments from about AED 3 million, marketed on sustainability and greenery rather than scale or district count.
